TCF 2nd Professional Conference

The Trenton Computer Festival (TCF) is the nation's longest running personal computer show and it is being held at The College of New Jersey. For the second year, the Trenton Computer Festival is extending its program to provide Information Technology and computer professionals with an additional day of conference. It is intended, in an economical way, to provide attendees with insight and information pertinent to their jobs, and to keep them informed of emerging technologies that could impact their work. The TCF Professional Conference will be run between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM on Friday, April 27, 2007. Registration fees: $135 at door. |
Sessions will be divided into two categories in order to serve the various specialties within the commercial IT industry. The sessions include:
Ajax (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML)
Architecting with Ajax
Developing Dashboard Based Business Intelligence Systems
Eliminating Cross-Cutting Concerns with Aspect-Oriented Programming
A comparison, the Java and .NET platforms
Why C#? (Coding in the Microsoft world)
Legal Issues on the Internet : A Brief Update
Data Security - Issues & Answers
Is Your Development Team's Performance What It Could Be?
Portals: The New Paradigm
Portals, the future - emerging technologies and strategies
Architectural Techniques for Interoperability and Coexistence
Talks will be delivered by some of the leading software and hardware vendors as well as IT professionals and university professors. These talks are designed to provide insight, direction, and up-to-date answers for the IT professional. In addition, there will be a number of technology demonstrations running throughout the day. Attendees at the IT conference will receive free admission to the TCF weekend.
